Would you buy a sled with just a bill of sale? I am unsure if that is ok to register in NH or Maine.
I would contact the Dept. of Motor Vehicles on those two states and see what they would require....
Every state has their own rules...
MN does not require a title and most sleds are not titled. You just transfer your registration information at time of sale if sled is already registered and show the DMV the proof of sale/ownership.

Never needed a title in NH, dunno about Maine tho

no title in maine, just bill o sale, for sales tax, for a non res you probably just need your reg from your state
