Well it didn't take long, but we have our first snowmobile death of the season.
1st snowmobiler death of the season reported
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saw on the news that the first snowmobile death of the year has occurred. Very sad
News reported no helmet with speed and alcohol likely a factor.
Accident was in the Eastern region
Our condolences to the family.
Lets try to remember to be safe out there especially since snowman still reports all trails are closed.

Actually #2.........
We lost one last Saturday in WY. BFR hit that tumbled his sled end-over-end. Internal injuries resulted in his death...
He was 70, active in SAR and a Fire Fighter out of Saratoga. Sad start to the season already.

Actually it's the third. We lost one two nights ago that was running a road and missed his turn off. Launched himself some 60ft. Alcohol and speed was a factor. Sad part was, it happened basically in front of our hospital.
