I just talked to two riders in the parking lot that just came back from the Snowies. They rode out of Greenrock this morning and went all the way across 130..., said "it ain't worth it". They managed to avoid any major damage off-trail but a lot more snow is needed before they'll go back. These were 2 Cat riders that had some nicely modded sleds, so they seemed to know the deal.
They also rode Bull Mtn yesterday (North of Gould, CO) and said there was more snow up there but "almost zero base". That's how they ended up at the Snowies today.
