I have a 1998 Vmax 700 triple and I'm wondering if a stock pipe from the SRV's would fit on my engine. I want more performance out of my sled, but I don't want to make it noisy.

No, I wouldn't put the SRV pipe on your triple, you will lose power. Check the Tech pages there is a few little things that will get you more hp. Reed spacers, reeds, peeling one layer off your head gasket or taking the middle piece out and gluing the two paper gaskets together. A good port job would get you 10-12hp.
