Phazer comet?

Who runs a comet primary on their phazers? Both of our phazers have comets and always have as long as I can remember. Does it make a big difference from stock?

im getting ready to change over to comet on my phazer. what are your specs and RPM ect. im running a PSI pipe so im sure i will need a spring change...
 
Use a new style yamaha clutch with the tall cover and 8AB weights with a www or ywy spring. You will need an exciter II secondary. I tried both this and a polaris primary and it pulls real hard with the yamaha clutch. If youre running a pipe turn 7200 rpm(ish) and engage at 4,000
 
I have an AAEN pipe on it and just did a rebuild of the engine. What should I be running for spring/weights and @ what RPM?
 
from what i have been reading. stock A-1 weights and hi altitude spring. this is on my phazer with 102-c and PSI pipe

now on my phazer drag sled im using a 108-exp A-1 MOD weights and purple spring, SRX secondary and 1 3/8" belt, AAEM pipe this is a sweet set up...
 
With the stock clutch I ran a silver/silver spring with a pipe and a ported motor. worked good, but it is much faster with the new clutches on it.
