Is it safe to change the jets on a 2000 SRX to the jets on a 2001 SRX? Also
What is the reason behind the change? I've read the older posts on this subject but wanted to know if anyone has had any problems with this.
Thank You
Andrew

Just a safer jetting, especially if you run in the cold... when they went to dcs they went back to 2000 specs,.. Yes I am running 01 specs in my 00 with no issues,, .. Maybe more piece of mind when pinning it for A mile......or so....

Alright so I can just call a Yamaha dealer and ask him to get the main jets for an 2001 SRX? Do I need a size of these jets or will they know? Any other details I need to tell him. What is the size of them? So all I have to get is the main jets, right? I'm not planning on changing anything else if I don't have to. Could I get aftermarket ones.
