hey guys, i'm new to working on sleds....
i bought a few 93 ovations for ice fishing sleds, last season the suspensions were starting to stick down and not pop up well, i studded the track on my sled i pull the shanty with for traction with a load and had a few issues with bottoming out the suspension and hitting the studs on the tunnel..
so my cousin told me how to pull the suspensions. did that, both are out. i'm going to check for bad bearings and try to tear all the peices apart and clean/grease as necessary.
how can i tell if the shocks need upgrading?
should i buy new springs for it since i was bottoming out?
why does shadetree only list the front shock for my track and not the rear, noticed this in a few places, both are throwaway shocks.
thanks
mike
