simon cpr problems

just wondering if any body else has had any problems with simon cpr I put a set of there pipes on and smoked the motor in about 150 miles so i called up cpr and took it there had a stage 2 big bore kit installed brought it home and smoked it in about 15 miles took it back and had it redone got it back and smoked it again in about 20 miles took it back last feburary and he still has not done anything with it now he is saying because i live about 50 miles north of him we have bad gas here i live in appleton wis a large city and always fill all my sleds up at the same place i have a polaris with a slp motor in it never had a problem with it now he wants to charge me to fix it this time after the 6000.00 i already spent there the first time any help with what to do would be helpful my sled is a 02 viper thanx
 

Did he tell you to run a higher octane fuel? Did he warn you about what would happen if you didn't run that fuel? What did he say the reason was for the other burndowns? You would think he would sit down and talk to you after blowin her up a few times already. My buddy had great service for his Viper S. I know a guy who had his Vector turboed and they helped him out a lot too.

all he said was premium fuel and i get my fuel at a mobil gas station the first time he said it was a bad crank seal every time it blows it is the same cylinder and it destroys the head and cylinder each time it takes him forever to do anything if you drop it off today u might get it back next year
 
Id tell you a long story about Jeff,,,but,,, you gotta watch what you say about people on this website..... I would NOT recommend CPR AT ALL.... I suppose THAT is enough info!!!!

the right cyl the carbs were over bore and everything was done by cpr so i would't be able to tell which jets
 
sorry you've had these probs, but there are a handful of guys here running these with good reliability. best bet with any engine mod is to test and dial in your jetting when you get it, don't rely on what they say to run. too many variables

you would think he made the big bore kit and his pipes and he only live a few miles from me he should know what he is talking about but i guess i was wrong there i think i will get ahold of pro116 on here and see if he can help if jeff don't
 
valin runs a 780 trail sled too but i think he has more porting than a basic cpr, i bought mine from jabber800 he also runs one (or has run one not sure if he still does), but they might be worth a shout too
 
Don't run Jeff's jetting specs they way to lean my buddy learned the hard way I tuned it after that for him.

Im waiting to here back from jeff but thats like pulling teeth if he won't do anything mr. viper said to get ahold of you would you mind helping us out?

mr viper can give u awsome advise ... sounds like its lean or to mutch compression ... i'm sure u will find out with those guy ........ ;)!

Just wondering what you guys came up with also. I'm running CPR'S on my 04 Viper and tryed to get a hold of him for jetting and never heard back.

good luck getting ahold of him i spent 6 bills there and i call all the time and leave messages and he never calls back droped my sled off last feb. and i still don't have it back u are better off talking to pro116 or mr. viper either 1 of them can help u
