Me I'd replace it no question. But I do ride in the middle of nowhere...

Ithink you could get another 1000 miles or so safely!! After that, it's a crapshoot.
I can tell, your fingers are in the way ....LOL, I need to see how much meat you have from the tear to the window.

another pic. it isnt attached at all towards the window mrsled, i would say there is half of that part of the track left where the tear out is. know what i'm saying? if i can get a few miles outa her, it would be great. other than that tear out, the track is super nice. makes me pretty ticked off.

I dont like the looks of that...I cant give that my blessing unless you keep her under 55 mph...for 1000 miles... I have had some bad tracks in my day but I have never had them tore into the window.

It might tick you off to replace the track now, but I think it's gonna tick you off more when you have to walk home or tick off your buddy who has to tow a sled with no track out of the bush. With something like that, I don't think it worth the risk. I'm sure someone here can help you out with a cheap track.

I've got a 121x.85 that is in pretty nice shape. It's got 2 lugs off it, but otherwise is good to go. I'd cut you a heck of a deal on it if your interested.

I have to agree with ekimsx600...replace it(with new or used. If you look hard enough you can find used at decent prices. Keep an eye on the TY Clssified section). It sucks to spend money but that track does not look good. Especially with the rip being right at the outside window. As far as cost goes, think about how much it will cost for any parts that get damaged from the track blowing apart while you are riding...suspension parts....heat exchangers ......BONES and BRUISES (knock on wood, but it can happen!) Not to mention it may sideline you for a while having to replace any of that stuff....And I stick to original statement..better to replace it now while you have the chance, then bring it out on the trails and have a problem out there having to be dragged back by a buddy..putting the kaibosh on their ride, as well.
As far as "how long you will get out of it".......not really a legitimate answer to that...could be 5 miles, could be....2,000 miles......not a gamble I'd be willing to take myself, or should I say..not a gamble I would ever take AGAIN..and yes, it totally sucked being stuck!!! Just my $.02

Just so you know, I also have a stud pull through on the edge like
that, but my hole is round.
Where the hole is, I have about 3/4" of track before the edge.
And I have been driving like this for about 3000kms with no problems,
I just take it easy when I drive on unknown ground..
But other than that, I hammer it all the time with no problems.
Hope this helps a bit.

Jon,
PM tomseal, I believe he still has a track off a 02 ZR 600 that has 144 studs in it.

Like most of the guys have said, replace it soon or take it very slow, keep in mind that all your braking comes from the track, no track no brakes, goin fast and track blows no way to stop. Hey it could be worse, id take blown track over a blown engine anyday, i wish i just had a blown track, my engine is tottaled, oil injection line came off, center rod blew, cut engine in half
