I just picked up a set of Viper shocks to long travel my 600sx. Does anyone know the part numbers for the limiter straps and transfer rod bushings that I need to change to?

You'll need Viper limiter straps and Viper transfer rod busings for the rear. The front will require the eyelet bushing from the Viper as Well.
Part 19 in first pic and parts 15 and 76 in second pic

Stein700sx, im about to do the same thing, i got vmax xtc shocks and want to put them in my vmax sx for longer travel. Putting the xtc shocks on the front and in the back. Is there anything i have to get? is it the same stuff as the viper shocks?

If they look the same as the Viper in the above pics then "yes".
I've only done this with the Viper shocks.

I've got the upgrade done to the skid but I have a question about the front shocks. I've got the original upper shock mount off but I can't get the spacer out so I can install the rubber viper bushing for the upper shock mount (#19 in the picture above). Anybody know how this comes out?

Very carefully. I usually rig up a puller to get the collar out and then use the puller to push the rubber bushing into place.

I did this mod to my '99 SX and it works great. To answer the first question yes, the longer Viper limter strap is needed for the rear suspsension and you can keep the same disks in your transfer rods if you would like.
If you are going to replace the upper shock mount in the front suspsension with the Viper bulk head bushing be very careful when you press it in so that you do not break off the "ears" of the bulk head. Use a C-clamp and a couple of small blocks of wood to get them pressed in after you have removed the old shock mount brackets. Don't try to use a hammer to drive them in because you will only be successful in breaking "ears" off the bulk head casting. I can take pics of mine if you would like.

Mills, you said "if" I was going to replace the upper shock mount with the Viper bushing. Is there another option? It looks like I could leave the original bushing in there and add a couple of washers on each side to take up the slack between the shock and the bushing.
