Hi all.
Long time reader, first time poster.
Now that that's out of the way, I need some opinions. I have an '04 Viper with the stock, 1" cone style track. I'm going to be studding it soon, & wondering if I need to install a rear heat exchanger protector. Maxximum Performance says 'yes', Nelson's Speed Shop says 'no'. Should I install one just to be safe? I'm putting in 1.15 Max Extreme studs. They apparantly measure their studs slightly different than others, they will be sticking up a little less than 1/4" above the tallest lug.
Any & all opinions are welcome.
thanks
Chad
