i cleaned the carbs yesterday one of the pilots was completely clogged, got that all straightened out and topped it of with fresh gas. i started it and let it warm up for about 5 minutes. it idles and revs just fine, it starts to bog at 4500 and will not rev higher than 5200 even with the track off the ground. i returned all the carb settings to what they were at last year, im just stuck now, any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance

You say it was a 98! I had the same problem last year, I hauled the whole motor apart to see if the crank update was done which it was. Turned out to be the stator It tested ok but I changed it and no more bog. Is it like a misfire? Almost seem like it not firing on all cylinders?
