I noticed this morning my speedometer stopped working. i assume the drive bearing must be going. now went for a little drive tonight and i see the fuel guage is now not working. is there any connection between them not working or a coincidence. where should i start with the fuel guage. i tried putting a magnet down the tank to move the bobber and it appears to be free moving but no change in guage. any thoughts. thanks.

yeah it is ...opps forgot to say what sled..it is a 97 sx 700..any thoughs?daman said:

Well for your speedo look down on the pto side axle bearing where your speedo cable goes into,take the housing(grear box so to speek) off and in side is a short piec of cable going into the axle then speedo box,it's probably sheard in two.
for the fuel test it....it comes out the front or stick magnet tool in and run up down wile reading meter.
