A question for the clutching gurus. I have a black primary spring, blue green blue. I'm positive it's OEM Yamaha. Would stock 01 SRX clutching benefit anyway from this spring???

Stock your sled comes with ywy. so your weights should be set to run target rpms with a ywy. If you put that spring in there it is not going to run proper rpms. So no.
Go to the TY home page and click on the "Tech Page" icon. Turk has setups for just about any sled you can think of. Follow his instructions for the type of riding/racing you want to do and you won't be disappointed.

try it out and see thats a 40/106 sping so it's going to shift out fast and engage around 4,000ish.
