Yamaha had these that would fit Ventures from my year (97) to the new ventures that are nylon and block the wind from the passenger's hands. Now I see the yamaha accessory site has a new style that does not say they will fit a 97, only the new 4 stroke ventures. I would have bought them last year, but I did not have the extra cash then. I had the part number and I swear I had a dealer in Minnesota offer to sell me a set last spring, but I cannot find any PM of mine, or any reply to threads about this anywhere.

Now that the new yamaha catalog/ site doesn't have the old part number listed, I cant even get a part number to scour the internet to find a pair of these.

Does anyone have last years Yamaha accessory catalog that can look up the part number for me?

Better yet, if anyone has a pair of these, PM me.

thanks,

Tom

bump..

I know someone has to have last year's accessory catalog that can get me a part number at least....

It seems like the new one for the RS Venture GT would work. Aren't all passenger grip similar in shape?

I think so, but I don't want to order these and have them not fit.

The old version would fit the pro action sleds, the venture 4 strokes and even the 09 venture GT. IIRC, the handgrips for the passengers on the 09 and 10 venture GT are the same, right?

It sounds like yamaha has not corrected this issue even on ventures to 2007, so even if they won't fit, I could sell these to another venture owner. Cold hands for a passenger are definitely something that is unacceptable.

From the RS Venture 06-09 to the RS Venture GT 09-10 the shape of the plastic guard seems different. Depending how it attaches it might work. Like you said you can always sell them.
