I know this subject has been covered to death on here about who makes the best one, which one actually makes power etc well that's not what I'm looking for. It's a pretty well know fact that the Power Inc can was the only one that didn't lose hp on the SRX's and well I guess all Yamaha sleds perform better with the stock exhaust. My question is what about other makes of sleds? Are Doo,Polaris and Cat affected the same way?It seems odd that only Yamaha would be in going in the wrong direction by adding an aftermarket muffler.

my cat buds say they help on the cats, no dyno support for this but it wouldn't surprise me since arctic cat doesn't seem to do the amount of r&d that yamaha does, although they did build a pretty impressive powerplant with the f7 (powerwise anyway)

F7 are actually similar to the SRX's in with an aftermarket can you lose weight but gain no HP I dont remember but I think the MBRP on the cats makes just a touch of horsepower if any and all others are just weight savings and noise.
Now this is for F7's as I have quite a bit of experience with them and I know on the big tripple motors (800, 900, 1000 +) Pipes and cans make a big difference to the good but on the newer ones my experience is the same as SRX's

bob, I posted the dyno results from Benders stage 1, 2, 3 and stage 4 in the SRX-Viper Discussion, I guess no one believes them.
