Hey, i am in the process of putting the engine into my 98' SRX, and i wonder if anyone has a good way of aligning the clutches without the special tool?
and no, I don't think i can get my hands on a clutch tool anytime soon so i'm gonna have to do it the hard way
thanks..

2 sets of hands can do it without the tools. use a straight edge on the back of the clutches, 15mm to 16.5 is the offset, if your secondary is shimmed to not float on the shaft go with 15mm. Parallel is very important. 267.5 mm center to center is the distance between the clutches.

I've used a framing square..
Put it in your secondary and see If it's where you want it on your primary

on christmas eve we had almost 3 feet of snow over 2 days, but now it is -30 Celsius so it's a little nippy for riding
