First Real Run with the SRX= GOOD

had a little run with the X today,it is strong and wants to go.To bad there is no base yet.Motor is strong and humming,good thing to see.Only thing I have to do is adjust 2ndary because of a belt squeal.Pinned it in a few area's for a bit...rpm's right on top at 8500.Feels good to get the SRX out..it wants to fly.Supposed to be snow coming in the next few days..I hope!!!!! :letitsnow
 
Poor Blue,,,, already got 500 miles on mine in Michigan..... hope u get snow soon......

I hear rain is comeing with higher temps for us!!! :o|,havent pulled a cord yet.
 
Freezing rain/rain is headed our way in SW MI.

Thank goodness I tallied up some serious mileage for the season - .7 miles LOL
 
I guess you'll have to head to Houghton -Copper Harbour ect. Unfortuneately our Family cottage on the U.P. was sold this summer...going to miss it A LOT!!!
 
yep buddy and I are leaving for copper harbor Friday night @ 8pm get all our new gifts kiss the wives goodbye and cya later come home new years day
We stay at the place where you have you own cabins up there dont remember the name love the area hate the gas prices :( last year they were $5.50/gallon

Too bad they close up the "Harbour Haus" restaurant in the Winter...great food! The owners are from Lake Lindon area.
The Keewanaw Mountain Lodge is open in the Winter, they have nice log cabins, most are fire place equiped.
 
daman,I put a few km's on the beast. There is a weather system coming our way for tomorrow and on....snow is coming.Gone to pick up some extra fuel today and get ready.Finally will get to ride the sleds. Premium gas prices out here is about $4.67 a gallon,that's $56.00 per sled fill-up.I will burn a lot of gas this year.It is a short riding season,but I will be riding everyday since I am not working right now...I took winter off this time..gonna be fun....

thanks guys.damn..I could ask Santa to deliver some snow to your house if you want..lolll did you get your helicopter yet...that way instead of giving advise to peoples problems,you can hop the copter and fly right out to TY members and actually do fix up in front of them..donations excepted.lolll
Wouldn't that be cool.Everyone chip in a donation so daman can purchase one and help us all out when in need. ;)!

I havent even got that yet. I'm with you damann 2 of the 3 havent even been started yet this year. The third was just started about 2 hrs ago after hooking up the electric shield. I didnt even want to do that but i had to make sure it worked ( Im one of those, that it would have drove me nuts not knowing if it worked or not.) :letitsnow
