UFO Round Slide Carb Inserts Question

I was just wondering if anybody has had any experience with this product. I tried a search and didn't find much talk about these at all. What are your thoughts?

Years ago a guy wrote into Snow Tech magazine and shared his experiences on a Mx-z 583.He had a detailed list of all he did in the carbs and clutching, but said it really ripped once it was all dialed in.
