Got my 73 out after clearing the driveway yesterday. Did a couple laps around the back yard then headed over to the ball field. Was pretty snappy and a little scary with the narrow ski stance. Slowed down to turn around and it bogged to a stop. Sat there for the next 15 minutes monkeying with the carb with no luck. Just bogged and spitting alot of gas back out the carb. So a foot i was. Only 1/4 mile from the house. Pulled home with fourwheeler.
Reminded me of riding the old cats when i was a kid. Take you as far as you can walk back.
Anybody ever have one of these khein carbs apart? Anything to watch out for.

Carb
LOL when I read that. Make sure the pilot passageway is clear with compressed air. I had spiders in there every year after storage. Also common is the pulse line. They like to crack and suck air, which will cause the bogg and die you discribed. When the carb is disassembled lay the pump parts out like they came off and re-assemble the same way in order. Been there done that !! Rembember walking many times riding the old sleds!!! I have fond memories of doing just that- walking !!
