hey guys how many pulls should it take to start an 04 viper stock, mine is four pulls always had the carbs cleaned and sync by the dealer still the same is this normal when it cold or is the choke not right?

I would say it is close, mine is 3 when cold and the odd time 4. You might want to check the idle, choke and oil adjustment, just to be sure and make sure everything is operating freely.
My past viper use to take 4 or more to start until I cleaned the carbs and set everything to stock. After that it took one pull.

2-5 pulls when the engine is cold sounds right. With my viper, temps play a huge roll in how many pulls it takes to start.

mines 2 to 4 pulls....depending on temps. 90% of the time its 3 pulls.

Aparantly the guy that owned my Er had a lot of energy because he removed the electric and the reverse ! I'm gonna say 3 pulls on mine as well. If its really cold I like to pull mine through 2 or 3 times slow before giving it a "yank"

Dont have a Viper but my 700 sx stock starts on first pull all day after first start in the morning. If it is 20 below ( first thing in the morning) it will take maybe two slow pulls then two good pulls.
