Hey im looking to upgrade my STs suspension is there any suspension that is better than the other , i was thinking like a RX1 suspension or something would it work ? M10 would be good , but if there is a newer yamaha suspension i could look for that would work with the stock V max track , Is ther ?
Thanks

X2!!! :bump:

I put a 2000 Venture skid in my 94 vmax 600 ST. Be sure to reinforce tunnel. It is VERY IMPORTANT TO REINFORCE tunnel. Skid swap is relatively easy as long as you have exact mounting locations from donor skid. You may also need some spacers.

I found what the Guy said was a M 10 Suspension out of a 1996 grand touring , Is this a good suspension for my V max , he said it would bolt right up but i doubt it i figure i will have to do some work with it and re inforce the tunnel where i bolt it on , is the best way just to make a plate that goes behind the mounting hole ?

I have a suspension from a 1996 actic cat Pantera , It is a 136 , it seems to sit alot higher and alot better travel then a yamaha , , , It still has the coil spring type , like on the blocks to make it stiffer , is this a good suspension ?

I put the sc10III in my 97vmax and love the ride. as long as you have the exact mesurments you can put any suspension in your sled.

I just saw a M10 for sale in mint shape on Kijiji , try a search for it as that was 4 days ago. It was in a SRX before the guy pulled it. So should bolt right up and you have an awsome suspension. But it is not cheap!!!

I also have a fellow here in winnipeg that takes old Xtra 10's and re vamps them, and they from what I heard take a good beating on the trail. I can give you his number if you want, just pm me. He also makes all the spacers for most skid swaps.

Here are some good instructions on the M10
