got fly risers on and i cant keep the form pulling back or form going forward to the dash. i got them dam bolts tight as hell what should i try

I had problems with a Fly Riser on my 01 SRX. The pivot AD was too wide and the risers grabed the bars at the bend instead of the flat part so I couldn't tighten it properly.

Go to the hardware store or anywhere that sells Loctite. Get # 609 .The liquid inside the bottle is green. This stuff is call cylindrical loctite. (means it fills in a couple thousandths on the contact area.) We use this in an industrial environment at work. Clean the metal up good with contact cleaner or something first. Make sure the bars are where you want them because after you put this stuff on it won't move unless you heat it ! If you want for some added grip you can take a center punch and make some small indentations on the riser and the clapms so it has some extra to bite into.
