i have the eight inch triple points on my 00 srx 700. never crossed rail road tracks but they seem to work ok in snow and ice where nobody has been before. i dont like the way they are on trails. my sled darts really bad.

His kit works awesome.
Use the ski saver. If you have a SRX you generally dont need the shim. Atoher Yamaha sleds like the new 4 strokes are different. Give Scott Bergstrom a call. He will be glas to talk to you.

the best that I have used ever. I used the ski saver with no shim. I can drive down the trail with one hand, zero darting. Never had a problem goin over railroad tracks. I have been over quite a bit of them. I will own nothin else. Like tom said scott is great guy to talk to.
