Hey guys I could use some advice. I have a 2001 700mm with slp pipes. I have two questions. I recently did the air box mod shown in the tech pages. It showed drilling the box and baffel, and going up one size on the main jets. all that went well, however when I rode it the other day it bogged bad between 1/4-3/4 Throttle. from what I have read it seems like I should maybe move the needle jets to richen the mixture since it would seem to me that there is now more air moving into the system. On the top end it ran really well, but in the middle it was a dog. I should say that I tried to do a plug test on the hill, but the plus are new, and they really didn't show much at a mid throttle test. Am I thinking correctly or have I missed something? The machine ran well all the way throught the throttle last year, and before this mod. I am not a mechanic, but I read around the sites alot, and am mechanically minded. I wanted another opinion on maybe what to do. My second question relates to my plug test on the hill. At full throttle it seemed like the cylinder neares the brake, #1 I believe was running hot, slightly lean. I hear this is common on readheads. My question is how much would be wise to upjet to get this piston burning right? The other two obviously seemed ok. I don't know if it matters, but I ride at 10,000 ft and am currently jetted at 136.3 across the board for mains. Thanks for any feedback

in the directions for the airbox mod, you missed the part about larger pilot jets if a lean bog occurred.
