Hey guys...looking for some advise......took my 98 700 venture for first ride today. We just got about 30 inches of new snow here and I was on a twiaty skinny trail and all of a sudden...wham...hit a stump that was hidden in snow. only going maybe 10 mph. Stump caught my left side ski and it spun ski around. Limped it home after I kicked the ski back. Looked over when home and there doesn't appear to be anything broke or cracked. Tie rod bent. Top of spindel where tie rod bolts bent. Is there any chance of heating these up and bending them back into shape or should I change them? Also should I rip the front left side steering apart and inspect to see if anything else is messed up? Not a mechanic and pretty new to sleds. Any advise or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks troutman
