I really should just use this as my Viper questions thread....(yes, I do have a manual, but it doesnt make everything 100% clear)
While installing the engine in my '02 Viper today I saw something that before I did anything, I wanted to ask first.
On my primary clutch, there is a washer that goes on the outside of the clutch and then you put the bolt on and torque it down(over the washer). Should that washer be a lock washer? The reason I ask that it because that is what is here now, but i see the bolt has a collar at the top, making me think it shouldnt have a lock washer???
Just as a background to everyone, I bought this sled with the motor blown up and already torn out of it. I am installing a good used motor. If anyone that knows Vipers wants to come to my place to help, you are welcome to!
This is horrible, having not taken it out, getting everything set up it a headache and a half when you dont know where stuff goes, where cables go.... etc! Its taking 10 times longer then I thought it would. Next time I will just pay the dealer.

Just think of the experience your getting. There is nothing better than working on something and getting it up and running. I would come and help but its that 12 hour drive.
