sled is not sitting flat??

hey guys and gals just bought my first srx 700 "hence the name lol" anyways just noticed it's not sitting flat,i just got it so not to sure about it,there's hmm i dunno say maybe a quarter to half inch space between the ground and the bottom of the track,thanks for any help u can give me

mine is the same,when you sit on it ,it goes down.

check your front limiter straps for spec,someone may have let them out,

Does it have the stock suspension?

Mine is like that too but I have bender reaction suspension. Same as monoshock.

Pretty sure they are all like that right from the factory. Both my 98 and 00 are like that. Normally the spring on the front arm of the rear suspensin is very stiff and does not compress until you sit on it. Shortening the limiter straps will 'flatten things out' but you will be putting more weight on the ski's and have less transfer.

ya the sled is 100% stock and other then hoping to upgrade the track and suspension next summer i plan on leaving it that way lol,it's already faster then i thought it would be so no complaints there,ok well was hoping it would have been lighter then my tank of a vmax 600 lol thanks for all the tips guys gonna try and experiment with a few things front shock setting and straps and see how it goes........as i always say your either on a yammy or behind one
