I put RSI extended throttle cables on my '99 sx 700. The original cable broke and was discarded last year, so I've been pre-mixing since. The new RSI cable is a little different. The new cable does not have the slide out in the middle of the cable. I've seen the 19 - 21 mm free play spec. Is that measured with the cable disconnected from the throttle lever, at rest to fully extended? thanks for any help.

that is with the the cable in the throttle block,i have the same rsi cables and i measured from where the cable stops in the block to how far it pulls out.it should be the same as the one with pulling it apart in the middle.
