Need Help !! No Spark ? 88 EXCITER
I'm having trouble diagnosing a no spark issue with my 88 Exciter
.
Found a bad wire on the pick up coil and changed it.That didn't fix it.
Swapped out the plug coil with one I know that works, checked the ignition switch, kill switch, and all the wiring.
I wonder if the bad pick up coil wire had shorted out on the case and cooked the CDI or Stator
Any other Idea's

If all the wiring in the primary and secondary circuit is good I would start looking at the Stator then the CDI box

yep the cdi, stator or pick up coil is bad or source coils but you cant change the source coils you must replace the stator. ihad a simillar problem ordered stator and still no spark so installed ned cdi and all was fixed
