Hi ,I have a 2003 rx1 and a week ago the starter cooked it self on the trail .It looks like it stayed out 
and killed the sled. The sled has 4000 miles on it but don't no why this might happen? The starter has never given me any problems. Has any one had this happen ? Any recalls? Thanks

just a tip bring it to a local starter/alt shop and get it R&Red there it will be a lot cheaper
