Is it possible to determine the year of a motor using the serial numbers?
Just pulled mine and the serial # dont match the sled. The stator, or at least the ignition sensor has been modified to fit, looks like it might be from a viper. Also the case is stamped DN00 Y-1, and I have two cylinders and all the heads DN10 Y-2. Is it ok to mix up these parts?
