First off I bought a new RUSH, yea yea beat me down, But I ask this question here because I love this site and when I had my yamahas no site helped me more! so This new Rush has 2 "remapers" 1 that says 10% ethenol, and the other non ethenol, So if I haul my own 92/93 octane gas there I will run the "non map diode" but on the trail what will I run into there? is there ethenol in the premium up there? It is a very easy switch out but a serious one if not mapped correctly. Thank you!

My understanding is that all grades of our gas has 10% ethanol.I don't think it keeps as long, but I personally have not had any problems with it.Nice sled btw let us know how it works, they look sweet. Also where is the closest sled dealer to you in Kentucky?

Tipp city ohio, 130 miles away. Well I guess it will be at the pump and i will know. It is just one of thoes things you dont pay attention to, but Polaris really states the importance of using the proper map diode. I am very excited to use the sled! I came on this site 1st when looking @ the 08 nytro's and was told to steer clear, I was told they are not a "buy and ride" sled. Thanks for the info!

X2 - In talking with fuel and lube engineers, the last blend (in Michigan) to not have ethonal was 87 octane but even that fuel now has (unlabled) 10% ethonal.
To be safe, I'd assume any fuel you buy here in Michigan has 10% ethonal.
Nice new sled too!

I've heard the Nytro's especially the '08's have twitchy handling and a very aggressive suspension calibration overall. The engines are totally amazing I've been told and are that sleds best feature by far.Sadly I'm not sure if I'd want one either especially with how cold it looks to ride.

well this RUSH cant be any warmer! LOL! Im going up there to break it in the "right way" and see what I want to buy for it = windy, storage bags, etc,I will not talk bout bash any sled, I loved my 97 SX700, I got this rush because from what I read, there Was a dealer within 130 miles of me, and polaris had a good finance deal that worked for me, and I bought it for alot less then ppl paid in northern states and I didnt pay tax on it!

True, alot of the newer sleds seem like they would be cold.
