It only has 200 miles on it. Good idea or bad since it hasnt been used at all over the years.
Any ideas of whats it worth

I don't think is worth more than 2k no matter how many miles it has.....And I think I am being generous.....

Ya, not worth 3K in the states where sleds are dirt cheap. He would probably have a tough time getting that in Canada for that machine.

thats what i was thinking.
I am also concerned taht this thing only has 200 hundred miles, put on it over the last 12 years.
Any concerns there?? or No just check compression and give it a good once over looking for dry rotted hoses.
Any thoughts?

A few thing to have in mind: Mice, proper storage, maintenance, hoses, clutches, TRACK, Skid, shocks.

Think I saw that one on Craigslist. Thought that is too much. My friend bought a 2000 Deluxe 700 with 500 miles on it two years ago for 2K. He has had no problems with his. Actually it is the one in my avatar.

Just sold my moms 99 500DLX for 1500 with a dead battery. The sled was showroom except for where your feet wore off the paint on the floor boards. It had 4200 miles on it and was over maintained and over fogged when i put it away, ran perfect with Vmax johns clutching........

I would be leary about the low K and lack of use, but if it was stored inside all its life. And you see this all the time with cars and bikes and the such who are dealer property or just go lost in the back somewhere turn up for sale in showroom condition. Time will do alot to it if it is exposed to the elements, but if in a nice properly stored place, you are not going to have to worry about much.

Also when were the 200 K put on.

As for price, in the fall , and winter here, these machines go for $24-$3400 CDN and our dollar is almost at par.

The person who had mine was asking $3000, sled was mint and lots of upgrades, besides the aformentioned recoil issue, but it was summer, no sleds sell in the summer to wel, and I watched it sit there and sit there, then I put in a bid for $2200 cash, the person cried for a week then finally they accepted it, but not after taking some toys off it. But did leave me with a brand new camoplast track and new shocks all around and such.

It is something I would say take to a dealer, or good trusting mechanic, and have it checked over.
