No lights on 00 sxr ???

I have a 00 sxr 600 that I can't get any of the lights to work on. Hot grips seem to still work but nothing else. Do these have a seperate coil for lights and hot grips like the Vipers and newer srx's? Hate to toss a new stator in and find out it's something else. I also need a wiring diagram if anyone knows where I can find one online. Thanks for any help.

could be the famous wire rub through under the motor......... unplug and pull the wire harness out from under the engine and check it out, i would think you would have been loosing power and had flashing lights to begin with though.

does anyone know if there is separate power coils for grips and lights?

SO no head/tail lights or dash lights work right? does the tach and fuel gauge work alright?

Correct Daman. Tach and fuel gauge work and hot grips. No lights at all.

Ok to save me from typing ill send you a manual that has the proceedure in it to check condenser ,coils etc.should get ya up and running..shoot me your email.
