I need some help with a phazer2 clutch.

I need to rebuild my primary and secondary.
The rollers, collars, weight bushings, dowels and sliders need replacing on the primary. It's about $170 cdn plus taxes...

The secondary is not so bad. The shoe ramps and replace a couple of chewed up seized screws...

This clutch has over 9000km.
The secondary spring is original. Should I change it? To what color? Stiffer?
The primary spring is not original.(black with a silver paint spot) I don't know how km's on it's at least 5 yrs old. Should I change it?

Is there any aftermarket rollers and weights available.
Or where is the best place to purchase parts online who ship to Canada?
Usually I would not think twice about the $ for parts, but times are tough.

Or should I ditch these clutches for another setup. (might be cheaper to buy used clutches with half the miles)
Which clutches could I use?

Thanks.

There is a clutch tune-up kit available. It does not have weights, but has every other wearing part. It has been many years since I knew what the price was, I do not know the price today. I don't think it will be any cheaper than what you need, but contains a lot more parts which you will probably need some day. It is listed in the clutch parts breakdown with the other clutch parts.

Thanks,

I seen it but I did not think it included so many wearable parts because the price was so low.
I can't find a description for this kit anywhere on the net.

tune up kit: 89x-00000-50-00

My dealer did not even offer me that kit.
I will call them and find out what parts included.

The parts in the kit are supposed to be marked with an * but I looked at three different listing and none there.

You can check with these dealers for prices and Canada shipping. Go to "Cool links" on the left side menu.
