Here's a question for those who have replaced primary clutch sheaves. Is rebalancing the clutch required? I see balancing holes in the fixed sheave, but none in the moveable sheave or spider.

i put on 911 cover sent it in 6grams off /// 6g ,3in rad , x 8000 rpm =?

s fortuna, 6 grams! Thats quite a bit. What did Kinetic charge you for the balancing.
i think it was 65 ck web site / snyc the carbs + bal runs soo smooth , i thought it was cheap insh for eng life

you need to balance, and the holes are only drilled on one part because the rest of the parts are marked with an x so that you can line them up the same, so that the clutching stays in balance after taking them apart to work on them

I just put a brand new clutch together, and it was out of balance. Don't know how much, but Micro Belmont did the balancing.

Advantage Edge does balancing,you need to remove the weights and rollers plus have the sheaves partially separated.
