The sled runs fine for quite a while then all of a sudden the plug fouls while idling. Then it has no power to take off. Change plug and everything is good. Till next time. What would be causing this. On this little liquid cooled single. Never had any problems for the past 3 years.

Insulation on electrical component somewhere might be compromised. Check the coil.

There were/are numerous service bulletins on this problem! Make sure you are running the projected tip recomended and not the original spec. Adjust your idle so the engine is not shaking violently.
You also might consider the NGK C series of plugs (br9ecs is used by the fouling prone SkiDoos). There were designed to help prevent fouling and be better at self cleaning, but were not around when this sled was.
Gota love the handle bars on this one

After thinking about my reply, it couldn't be a coil if a new plug fixes the problem.
Unless it's a week spark.
