What is the best way to cut a windshiled?
I've used a roto-zip before. I taped the line I wanted to follow then went to town.

Cutoff wheel works great, did my SRX w/s and the plastics on my Raptor wheeler, take a lil emery paper and a heat gun to the edges to smooth em out

DV8 said:I have tried tin snips = not so good. a small air powered jig saw works great for a rough first cut, then use a angle grinder with a sanding disc to smooth it all out.. comes out like factory. Did it on Viper and SRX.. here is a pic of viper.

I took a grinder to my windshield, looks perfect with the trim over it.

I trimmed my buddy's Exciterr w/s down with my 2" cuttoff wheel. I taped of a line and followed the line. I then installed some w/s trim from Dennis kirk to finish off the edge, I did use a file to clean up the edge. looks goood Al

I use a dremel with a cut-off wheel also. Works good, and with the trim back on, you'll never notice it was cut.
