Hi everyone,

I have some power valve problems. I don't they work work i cant get over 7000 rpm and i took the cap off the servo motor to see if it does move when below 900 rpm but nothing moves. turn the servo motor clock wise to losen the cable so it would suck the power valves in but they still are lose i had clean all the power valves. i baught this sled last season and i dont think they were working then too. Any one knows how to check if the servo motor is getting power and how many volts and if the servo is working.

thanks

Check your temp light for flashes on start up,it will flash 3 times for a properly working system but there will be a certain sequence of them if you have a problem.Post what yuo find and someone will be able to diagnose it for you.I believe the flash codes are in the tech section too.

my dash lights arent working so at night i cant see the speedo but the dim and bright light comes on so u know i started it and did not see no temp light . i check the servo motor and its working i adjusted all the power valve but still does 7000 rpms.

well i really dont know how to check that but it runs fine no missing or back fireing it picks the skies up when taking off but wont go over 7000 rpms. i noticed fuel in the exhaust pipes on the #1 cylinder i took it so i could set the power valves and all the plugs were wet including the the other 2 exhaust manifold i always taught the exhaust should be dry.

yes it is running on all 3 i think the power valve cables are streched out i readjusted the vavles and the cable were maxed out and the valves werent fully open. i remove the exhaust manifold and felt them while adjusting. i got it up to 8000 rpms now

no they arent broken just maxed out on the adjuster on the servo and the power valves are not fully open.

anyone knows if a 2000 srx 700 tripple servo motor, cable and power valves work on a 1999 srx 700 tripple.
