All,
After resolving the spark issue on my 73 yamaha sl292c, I cleaned the carb and put a new gasket kit in it, since the old ones were sold it they were cracking. When I started the sled, it either sputters spitting fuel back out the carb, or runs wide open throttle without me ever touching the throttle.
I set the low speed screw to 7/8 of a turn from gently closed and the high speed screw adjust to 1 1/4 turns from gently closed. As for the fuel level in the site tube, it looks to be set exactly right.
Any suggestions on where to start with this one?
