I was going to head out riding the other day and noticed that the bleeder bolt up by the shut off valve for the carbs was missing. I had just a plain bolt that fit in there, so I put it in in its place. Same length etc. The question is the bolt I lost has a tappered end, the new one I put in to plug it don't. Is there a reason for the tapper? Will it restrict flow with just a normal bolt in?
No restriction if you dont run carb heaters. Carb heaters only run if really windy or below 0. I dont remember if the bolt was tapered or not.. some teflon tape and tighten in up.
