For what ever reason I can't seem to get my dads dcs light on his srx to stay off. As soon as you get it to start stretching its legs the light comes on weather your on the lake, road or rail bed. I've tryed different heat ranges of plugs, I got the jetting really close to perfect and we can't seem to figure out why it keeps coming on. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate the help.
does it flash went u start the sled ??to make a bulb check

Octane certainly will help but as the previous poster indicated, I would try and fix the problem, most likely jetting.
I've had an 02 srx now for 6 years and have run 87 octane many times when Ive had no choice and never really seem much of a difference with the dcs light. I am also considering running fresh 87 fuel over stale premium fuel thats hardly ever purchased anymore.
