my girlfriend has a 99 vmax 500 dlx, and i was wondering what i could do to it to get a little more power? any modifications i could do? anybody make pipes for these? anything? thanks.
Go to the tech pages and find a clutch set up for your sled. Really wakes up the 500s.
Also you could post for VMAXJohn, as he is the 500 master. My step dad's 500 deluxe has his set up in it. I bought it that way otherwise I would tell ya what it is. I bought it off of Toddmeister so you may want to post for him also as he is the one that clutched it with VMAXJohns set up.

I believe you can do the reedstopper notch on the 500 also, carbon fiber reeds and tempaflow. Oh yeah!
mr.sled told me to run stock reeds in mine. im still runnin factory exh. except the can. notch is goin in as i type. i wish vmaxjhon would get on. i have a post going on the clutching too.
