New to vitage exciters

I just picked up 3 1980 Exciter 440s for $550 a piece. they all run and are in good shape. One thing I wanted to know is what the tallest lug track I can put under it. I think I read it is a 2.52 pitch with 8t drivers on a square shaft. Also how long is the track is it 114in or 116in? I want to put a different skid under it to give it more travel and at least a 121in track. Also is there any cheap mods I can do to these sleds to give them a little more power? thanks a lot

does anyone know what the track clearance is on these sled?

not much for clearance up there, I had to put tunnel protectors on mine to stud it. boyesen reeds are a good place to start to get some better throttle response.
