Pull a compression check before doing ANY headgasket mods as a safety measure because you run a risk of burning that motor down with excessive compression. ALSO, IF your sled has more than 135 psi compression it is also vital that you run premium fuel. My manual states that the 600cc cylinder head volume is 18.7-19.3cc stock, so if it does have a peak head with 21cc domes then you will be low on compression. If you are running higher than stock compression, you will have to run richer jetting as more compression makes more heat. You have ALOT of homework to do if you paln on putting pipes on your sled because if you get it dialed right now your set up(clutching and jetting) is going to change when the pipes are added.
