Ok, so I read up on clutching...Now that I'm pretty sure I don't want to mess with the entire setup of my STOCK '02 Viper...

So I would like to know what would happen if...All I change is the Helix from stock to the one pictured below?

My buddy used to have a Viper, he has some spare parts left over and he tells me to install this Helix he has. Remember now, stock sled (as far as I know) runs real good with no issues. The Helix he gave me has the numbers 54/44 on it then 4 holes with the numbers 0,3,6, 9 next to them and the 6 hole has a red mark and an arrow indicating to use that one. What can I expect?

I'm a rookie, so be kind!

Dave

Search here and gather info. You are going to have to do more then put that helix in inorder for the sled to preform properly. Search that helix 54/44 and see what people are doing to get it to work in your sled. Then you are going to have to fine tune from there. It is not that hard to do your just going to have to do some testing and add some weight to your weights in your clutch. It is going to make your sled quite a bit quicker if properly tuned.
