There is a ski doo dealer here in town that sells amsoil. I have been blaming my clutching for poor performance. I wonder if alot of it was the pv's?

from the pics ive seen from what dif types of oil leave.... so far i think ams interceptor keeps em the cleanest...
the important part is to wipe out the cable slot and look up in there and see if they are starting to pull thru.....if so i send them to me and i can fix them with a stainless end instead of alumnium
I have used KLOTZ Techniplate in my NON POWER Valved stock + modded Yamahas and other performance 2 strokes for a couple decades, and found it to be a Very Good oil.
However...when I started using Klotz in my SRX, I also found the power valves were gumming up + required cleaning frequently .I still use Klotz in my SXs, 81 SRX, + Vmax4 but have switched to Redline for my SRX to see if it runs cleaner on the valves.

AMSOIL INTERCEPTOR BUD, THEY NEED CLEANING, BUT I WOULD STILL PLAY WITH CLUTCHING. 3:16 (yammie tony)
Use IPONE baby
Its cheaper, not full synthetic but the valves don't get dirty, and and it smells like strawberries at idle
weeeee. no smell on your clothes after riding though, important if you are trying to get in a quick ride before Christmas dinner after you were told not to go.
regardless of oil you use you should always pull the valves out and check them for the dirt.

Might want to see if NOSBOY will chime in here. Carbon build up can be a result of the oil but also the fuel as well. Out there anywhere Gary??

haha... I love the smell of 2 stroke... dont get me wrong there.. its one of the big +'s for me riding it!... just funny how it kept him out of trouble running ipone strawberry... nothin like just firing up your sled and letting it warm up... "just breath in" lol...
