Hello all. Was just wondering how I can get more out of my Viper without going crazy spending money on mods. When I bought it, all it had was a Bender silencer can. Ideally, I just want to know what the best mods would be. I've narrowed it down to VForce reeds and a can for HP gain, just like you would with an automobile....but is there any other kind of little things that make a big difference as well? Thanks.

What would you suggest for clutching? I'm pretty new to sleddin.

I really like the way my HeelClickers perform
Change out the helix for a dual angle.
Like cptnviper said, check out those clutching charts.
Find a combo that will best suit your driving.

Clutching will help you use more of the power you already have, from what I understand, and can really, really help.....

For making more power on a Mnt Viper, the obvious answer is triple pipes. SLP claims a 33 HP increase, but even 25 or so is huge, considering a stock Mnt Viper runs 117 hp or so. There are lots of triple pipe set ups out there used, to save cash. Installation isn't too difficult, either. Most Viper owners eventually install triple pipes to get the hp gains they want.

There are a million mods available to try, but I believe triple pipes adds the most hp of any mod I can think of....

Tripple pipes will give you the most hp's for your dollar. It will require some test time to get the jetting correct for elevation and temp.
You will need to go back to the clutches to tune them to the new horsepower. Most companies sell clutch kits that best match the application.

definitely tripple pipes then clutch it for the power. any clutching and gearing does the most for srx, vipers are the same way except need tripple pipes where the srx has them already from the factory. I would stick with a name like bender or hauck, can find them used for around or not much more than $400.
