I'm trying to change the dash on my viper as it is cracked. I removed the 4 screws but it seems to be attached to the air induction scoops or whatever they're called. Do I need to remove these as well? If so, how do they come off?
Getting it off is easy, just let the sled land real hard on it's top. j/k . . .
Easy, there are 2 screws that come up from the bottom. Look in the holes under your hood you should see them. You do have the trim parts and windy off right? Unplug the meter and it can be swapped after you get the headlight cover (what they call it) off.

what Ding said...but be carful with the air induction pieces. you will have to take both of them off to get the large black dash part out. Make sure you pull the tabs from the induction pieces out first, and then slide the induction piece upward (when you have the hood open.) Be patient and careful. Its all plastic tabs. And when you assemble the new one... install ONE of the air induction pieces, then install the large center piece with the spedo (insert the tabs into the black piece, and hook up spedo cable now). Once that is in place, take the second air induction piece and insert the tabs from it into the large center piece. Once thats done, slide the three pieces from the induction piece back into the hood. And then put all the screws back in, just take your time so you dont break any of the plastic pieces (as you probably know, they are not cheap)
